Her life changed when she was 9 months pregnant, with her 4th child. Her husband abandoned her and she was struggling in pain at a cow shelter delivering her baby girl, when she overcame the thoughts of suicide and decide to live, despite the pain.It was not just her marital family but also her mother who decide to abandon her due to her revolutionary steps in her district with her collector for the welfare of the village. Her family did not have mercy on her or on her new born baby.
She was struggling to live and begging on the platforms and roads to gather money to feed herself and the newborn. Her optimistic vision of life, made her mind to look around at the orphan kids begging without even a mother besides and her soft heart melted for them.
From there on she did not look back. Every orphan is now her child and never left felt alone, after getting to know her. Over time, she has managed to raise fund and associated to a trust for her kids. She later donated her biological child to the trust Shrimant Dagdu Sheth Halwai, Pune, only to eliminate the feeling of partiality between her daughter and the adopted ones. She was conferred a Doctorate in Literature by the DY Patil Institute of Technology and Research in 2016.
