We have curated a list of the top 3 DIY recipes that have been creating waves during the quarantine. Here’s your ticket to a lip-smacking adventure to food paradise.
Want a creamy bowl of Mac and Cheese but scared of the calories? This is your fix! We have replaced the Cheese with some – cashews and butternut squash!
Ingredients:
• 2/3rd cup raw cashews
• 1 cup chopped butternut squash
• 2-3 cloves garlic
• ½ tsp. smoked paprika
• 12 ounces pasta (any pasta of your choice)
• ½ cup of water
• 1 cup chopped broccoli, bell peppers, and onion.
• Salt and pepper for seasoning
Method:
• Blend the cashew, butternut squash, paprika, and garlic to make a smooth paste. Your sauce is ready.
• Boil water in a pot, sprinkle some salt and add the pasta. When it’s 1/4th cooked, set it aside.
• In a pan, sauté the broccoli, onion, and bell peppers. When they turn soft, add the pasta and the sauce. Fold
everything together and add salt and pepper.
• Garnish with some coriander and enjoy!
This cheeseburger recipe has been sent by God to save mankind from bland food.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup boiled and shredded chicken
• ½ cup cheddar cheese
• 1 brioche roll or potato bun
• Mustard mayo, pickles, and lettuce for topping
• Salt and pepper for seasoning
Method:
• Take a big bowl and mix the chicken with cheddar until they’re combined. Roll them into 2 flat patties and grill on
an iron skillet.
• Toast the bun until it’s nice and brown. Slice them into 2.
• Place the patties on the bun, add some shredded cheese, and top it with some mayo.
• Add a dash of chopped spring onion and voila! Your melt-in-the-mouth cheeseburger is ready.
Onions, Cheese, spices, and herbs, need we say more?
Ingredients:
• 6 large sliced onions
• 1 and a half cup heavy cream
• 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
• 1 cup white wine
• 2 cups chicken stock
• 2 ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
• 2 slices sourdough bread (optional)
Method:
• Take a thick-bottomed pan and add butter. After the butter melts, sauté some onion till it caramelizes. Add the
cream and stir it.
• Cook on medium-high heat till the cream is reduced. When the onions turn deep brown, add the white wine.
• Deglaze the pan and stir everything together. Add the seasonings. Leave it for 6 minutes and then stir again.
• Add the chicken stock and cheddar cheese. Please bring it to a simmer and turn off the flame after 15 minutes.
• Add some cilantro or parsley, and your soup is ready. Bon appétit!
