Surgical strike is a skillfully formulated military attack which turrns out deliberately to devast constitutional military targets and no or nominal indemnity damage to surrounding structures, vehicles, buildings, or the general public infrastructure and utilities

The recourse of surgical strikes was to grab the guard against increase in infiltration bids. Terrorists rabbled along the LOC intended to overpass the border and targeting areas in Jammu and Kashmir, in addition to other metros. In such an incident surgical strikes was beneficial to manage the risk.


Indian army conducted first surgical strikes against conjectured militants in Pakistani-administered Kashmir on 29 September, 2016.

In response to this Bombard, Army General Bipin Rawat mentioned it is the time for another surgical strike. He didn’t disclose the technique for another surgical strike but he ensured that surgical strike should reoccur to deter terrorists from disrupting peace in Jammu and Kashmir. Former Nagrota Corps commander, Lieutenant General Rajendra Nimbhorkar suspected the same.

PAKISTAN WARNED “10 SURGICAL STRIKES”

Pakistan Military warned “10 surgical strikes” against India in response to a single attack by Indian militants against them. Major General Asif Ghafoor, spokesperson of the military’s Inter Services Public Relations, where he escorted Pakistan Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on a visit stated this to the media in London.
