Bollywood superstar Jodi Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh wedding fever is still on. The couple tied the knot on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como’s Villa del Balbianello in Italy. Since Deepika is a South Indian and Ranveer is of Sindhi-Punjabi origin, the two families marked to follow wedding ceremony by both rituals. A South Indian wedding planned for November 14, accomplished with Kannada rituals. On 15 November the couple commemorated their relationship as per the rituals of a North Indian wedding.
The couple threw their second wedding reception at Grand Hyatt Mumbai yesterday. The venue was garland with white lilies which are one of Deepika’s best loved flowers.Ranveer’s parents arranged the event for the newlywed. Groom’s nearest and dearest friends and relatives were invited for the event. Few eminent personalities including Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina kaif and Alia Bhatt attended the event.
Deepika and her family enrobed in ivory and gold outfits designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s creations while Ranveer Singh and his family donned in black and gold attires designed by Rohit BAL’s couture. The white and gold elegant invitation card is designed for the wedding reception.
Deepika enhanced her new bride looks in an in Ivory and Gold Chikankari saree that manifested her eyeful. Contrarily Ranveer was well groomed in an ivory and gold embroidered sherwani with wide-legged trousers designed by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. Ranveer Singh set the stage on fire. He danced with his friends and relatives.
The guest was served Malabari, Mughlai (biryani), Punjabi, Italian, Chinese and Middle Eastern cuisines. Gajar ka halwa, rasmalai and chocolates were served in desserts.
Succeeding their Bangalore wedding reception arranged by Bride’s parents for their friends and relatives at The Leela Palace Hotel, Ranveer Singh’s sister Ritika threw the private dj party for the newlywed couple at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on 24 November.
Deepika was adorned in a floral Sabyasachi lehnga with roses on her hair while Ranveer picked multi-coloured outfit by Manish Arora for the DJ party.
